Objective is to Estimate load and understanding the performance issues to
handle after we introduce around 400+ application users into our production
database.

This is the current situation:

DB: Oracle 9.0.2

Active application User base (existing): 600 approx

Application that uses the database: Oracle Developer 2000 Rel 6.0



Enhanced system:

DB: Oracle 9.0.2

Active application User base (existing): 1000+ approx

Application that uses the database: Oracle Developer 2000 Rel 6.0



What ideally should be steps that should be undertaken to handle the
additional load?
