FYI, I found the problem. If anyone else ever sees this check your
inventory.xml file and make sure that both Oracle Homes are listed.

Has anyone ever seen this? I am running Oracle 10.2.0.3. I have 2
Oracle homes on this AIX server. When I run opatch lsinventory it works
find on one of them, but fails on the other. Any ideas?

Oracle Home.
Possible causes are:
Oracle Home dir. path does not exist in Central Inventory
Oracle Home is a symbolic link
Oracle Home inventory is corrupted
LsInventorySession failed: OracleHomeInventory::load() gets null
oracleHomeInfo
OPatch failed with error code 73
