RE: New to Oracle

RE: New to Oracle

I would also recommend the "Oracle Database Concepts" document that is on the Oracle website. I've purchased several books (from different authors and publishers) and the "concepts" document is the best starting place. There is also a document on Oracle's website called "2-Day DBA". I would highly recommend this document after the "concepts" document.

I'm still learning Oracle as I know much more about SQL Server but these documents have truly helped me. Good luck.

I'd also recommend you read the "Oracle Database Concepts" manual you can find at www.oracle.com.
