I am sending files as attachments through unix shell scripts not quiet
sure how to do it with PL/SQL?

Using Oracle 9i, I need to send a fairly large amount of data via email
(around 3k records) and wondered if anyone knew of a way to email it in
a text file as an attachment rather than as the body of the email. I
have been using utl_smtp (calling another procedure), but there appears
to be some limitations to size as well as some strange formatting
issues. Any suggestions on accomplishing this task?
