Sissi,

I often receive this installation when trying to install any 8i version
of Oracle on to WinNT platforms.

I don't know why it happens but we simply find this file on one of our
Oracle client PC's and copy the file over to where it is expecting it to
find, then retry the installation.

Hi,
While installing Oracle 8.1.7 Standard edition, I have
got error messages:
E:\Oracle\ora81\bin\ociw32.dll
Do you have any idea why? I've ignored them all and
continued with installation. Does that cause any
problem?
