Hi.. I am not sure of the process
but i am sure that access to sybase from oracle can be done without Transparent gateway.
I don't remember the full steps.
But some one can try:
1.Modifying the catalog script to run in sybase and executing that.
2.And adding an entry to tnsnames.
3.Use the connect string like <connectstring> @ODBC:[<DSN NAME>] (something like this)
