Mike,
I thought that the GV$ views have the info on all
instances, while the V$ views only have the local
info. What happens to me is that if I run a query
against the GV$ views, it hangs, when I ran the same
query against the V$ views it runs fine on all nodes.
Based on your reply, does this imply some kind of
inter-node communication? Is there a way for me to
check that?
thanks
