RE: NT AT command and SLQPLUS

I am the user who creates/runs the batch jobs, and I have full
administrative rights in NT. The batch file runs fine at its designated
time. It's just that, within the SQL shutdown script, the connection to
oracle fails, with "insufficient privileges". That's oracle's message, not
NT's.

Check the advanced user rights for the user who created/runs the batch jobs
and make sure they have log on as batch job,log on as service and act as
part of the operating system.
Hope this helps,
Carl

Subject: NT AT command and SLQPLUS

Hi List!

Last night I started using NT's AT command to schedule and auto-run my cold
backups. All my batch fiels and SQL scripts run when I start them manually,
but using AT, INTERNAL doesn't connect. My shutdown script is supposed to
connect to the database as internal using:

SQL> CONNECT INTERNAL/<password>@<service>

And I get "Insufficient Privileges".

My NT documentation is incomplete, but I suspect a certain NT user account
is used with AT commands, and this user needs to be added to the ORA_DBA
group, so that it can be authenticated.

Am I right? Can someone please fill in the details, and help me figure this
out so I get a REAL, and CONSISTENT backup tonight? For example, what is
the NT user that is active during AT command execution?

Thanks in advance.
