The installer balks on P4, you have to do some amnual intervention. It is
documented on Metalink pretty well.

No changes are required. These aren't P4's are they?

Subject: Changes from Single to Dual processor machine
Hi,
I am upgrading and 8.1.7 database on Win2k from an older machine to a
newer dual processor machine.
Do I need to make any changes for Oracle to use both processors (by
modifying init.ora) or is it Win2k's job?
TIA
