That is a parameter in listener.ora. You can change it in the network
adminstrator.

Hello,

How do I determine what the session timeout is set to? I'm a bit confused
on trying to figure out how this is set.

My situation is as follows:

I have a Java Servlet Developer who has a pool of connections to our
database. Periodically he uses one of these connections to execute a
query.
Every once in awhile he gets the error "Exhausted Resultset" within his
Java
application. I'm trying to determine if I need to set the session timeout
to a higher number. Should I be looking at SQLNET.EXPIRE_TIME, IDLE_TIME
or
another parameter?

Thanks,
