We are having a huge debate over what solution to implement for our MI
solution, the shortlist is as below. Please
feel free to voice you opinions/experience with any of them or any other
solution you've worked with.

The order is not preferential by the way.

1.) Split the BCV's and run MI on BCV's mounted on another server.
2.) Implement a standby database, halt refreshing then run MI (READ ONLY)
and resume refreshing.
3.) Refresh snapshot grouping on another server, using dbms_snapshot.
4.) Mirror tables with triggers logging changes, of data subset.
5.) Export/Import, this isn't really scalable.
6.) READ ONLY transaction, but not consistent across truncates.
