Does he have a backup of the registry? You are going to need that.

Have U installed the OS in a diff partition. Then U can repair the OS.
DO you have the ERD ( Emergency repair disk ).

Hi Guys,

My database server machine (NT) doesn't boot due to virus attack. So, I
removed the hard disk and attached with some other machine. Now I'm able
to
view all oracle folders and related files (control file, Data file,
etc).
How to bring back the database to work? Do I have to recreate a new
database? I have no clue. Please advice.

Your help will be highly appreciated.
