Subject: recover table space
DBAs,
In one of my instances I truncated all tables with the drop storage clause
that a user owned. It totaled about 335MB. What I wanted to do was use and
import from another Instance that has fresh data to repopulate the deleted
tables.
When I imported the data, i received errors pertaining to out of tablespace
errors. The tablespace is 500MB, but I thought when I truncated the tables
I would regain the 335MB and start from scratch.
Do I need to drop all tables in the schema to recover the space and then to
a reimport creating the table?
Thnx.
