Is there a way to selectively stop archiving of an apps tables?

We have a purchased an oltp application that has a function, based on
the user's lookup/query, writes large amounts of data into temp
application tables, the data is then manipulated, presented to the user,
and is then deleted.

Correct me if I'm wrong but each time the data is written/committed to
the temp app table and then deleted a redo/archive before/after images
are captured.

I would like to shut off archiving to the temp app tables if possible.

Recovering the temp app tables isn't an issue.

Could I use nologging option on the tables?
