I have transparent gateway and replication is set between sqlserver
And oracle but it's taking long time to move the data. To move
thousand records it takes 15 minutes . Oracle server is in remote
place .
I am going to try loader now ....

Transperent Gateways are one way to do this ...
ANother easier and simpler and faster way is to use sql loader... Dump
the
data into a flat file and load it with sqlloader.
