Yes its definitely not taxes. The U.S. levies a 35% tax on foreign earnings. It is one of the few countries to do so. Now if Oracle suddenly re-incorporates in Bermuda that would definitely be a tax dodge.

I agree Oracle is doing this to save money. Iif the masses don't want them to do this ...

Should Oracle shutdown its operations at Brackenall and Singapore? Should all its sales force be American citizens in the electic countries where it markets its products? Should Oracle be allowed to employ technical support personnel in these countries who can frustrate their customers in the customers' native tongues?
