BTW -
It's not an IOT table is it? (I hope not for your sake!)
-----Original Message-----
I'm temporarily stuck with a bad db design and index usage so I am having
TERRIBLE performance and completion time for a stored procedure which does
massive updates on an indexed column. Does anyone have any tuning tips as
to sort_area_size or anything else they could give me. Any good
documentation on what happens when and indexed column is updated would be
greatly appreciated.
TIA
Jim
