I have the sem variables set to 100 32000 100 100 just like the system doc
says. The two errors pop up when the dbca is at the "Adding Oracle JVM
stage".

I check the option for database creation script and it does generate these
scripts successfully. As far as oratab is concerned the only oratab file is
under /etc. I read the install document and I don't know if I came across
the entry for DB to be put in the oratab folder.

At what stage of DB creation U are getting this error :


U may look at the system semaphores , env variables
set as per the docs to get further on

Does /var/opt/oracle/oratab has the entry for the
DB to be created
