Dear List,
I have a Client contact table With Anniv and bdays . I wish to show the Bdays and anniv for the day daily in a single report at a client PC as soon as he logs on grouped on Event(Birthday Or Anniversary As the case is)!
What im trying to do is Update the event column in the table daily with whatever the event is and group the data on the event column to Bdays Or Annivs, But what when a case has both on the same day?
Also how do i run / create a autoexec file?
I have configured batch files to run listener on the systems daily at the startup. Can i do something similar with this Report?
Also this is on Oracle at my end but will be in Access at the client's end! In access I have set up a macro autoexec (IN BUILT) which calls the report just fine, and sends to print. Do we have something similar in oracle?
So we will be porting data weekly to his DB in Access!
Any Tips, Advice, Pitfalls , potholes to look out for?
Table Client:
Name varchar
Address varchar
Anniv date
Bday date
Event char ( Birthday Or Anniversary as per dates=Sysdate)
