Hi,
You may try pre-creating your table using the indexfile (ex: exp ...
indexfile=file.txt) , in which you will have changed the tablespace name to
the ones by each schema should use. Then re-import only the data from your
export file.
Hope this helps,
Louise

Objet : advice needed!!
hi gurus,
i have a problem and i need ur advice to overcome it.I have 3 users who have
3 different tablespaces assigned to them.when i perform an import of a dump
file into a particular user, the import takes place but all the data goes
into one particular tablespace, though this is not the assigned one to that
particular user, due to this the datafile has become very large.I have cross
checked and find that each user has a different tablespace assigned, but
still all the data goes to a particular tablespace only. Can anyone help me
overcome this problem,ie each user's data should go into their assigned
tablespace(datafile)only.
My database is 8.1.6 RELEASE 2 on WindowsNT.Thanks in advance.
regards,
bhashyakar
