You can use recover automatic option,, you do not have to specify the
archived redo log... Pl let me know if its working fine for you!!!!!!

Subject: Recovery after hot backup restore

Hi all,
I have just had to recover my datafiles, index files, log files and
control files to their original location from hotbackup. I need help with
the recover command to use to apply the archived_log files to the restored
database. Do I need to restore the init.ora file too? Nothing changed in
it.This is quite urgent. I will appreciate your response. Thanks in
advance.
