You don't need to do that.

2 Extents is Normal. 100 Extents Is Normal ... 500 Extents is Normal. 1000
Extents --- Manageability goes down so start putting partitions.

Gurus,
I just did a defrag of all tables with more than 2 extents belonging to a
certain schema. One of the tables took 8 hours to do the re-import of the
table. It has 1.5 million records and one of the data types is long. Does
this sound feasible?
