Oracle database server is on SUN Solaris.
OS =Sun Solaris 5.8 .
Database server : 8.1.6 (Unix machine)
JDBC client is on Windows 2000 Professional.

Where is the database installed(Unix or Windows) ??
Where is the JDBC client installed(Unix or Windows) ??
