Bill is right the controller is going to be the bottleneck. I've got SUN 3500
with T3 storage array with 9-73gig drives. I got the drives configured with
Raid 5 and striped across 2 LUN's. The best I get out this one is writing
about 9gig per hour. This controller only has 256k cache on the controller.
Anyone know about T3 storage array performance?

I've also got a very inexperienced SA.

Any suggestions?
