Hi all,

I modified my loaded ctl file

XXX_DATE DATE "NEW_TIME(to_date(:XXX_DATE,'MM/DD/YY'),'EDT','GMT')",

complains date format not recognized. My flat file format is MM/DD/YYYY

What am I doing wrong? I am using bind variable :XXX_DATE. This column I want to convert. Is it possible when I am loading for the first time to convert.
