Hi,

I am using Oracle 8.1.7.3. I am running the database in MTS mode. Database
is on Windows NT Server, 4 CPU box and 4GB RAM.

I have the following MTS configuration

MTS_dispatchers = "(PROTOCOL=TCP) (DISPATCHERS=2) (CONNECTIONS=128)"
MTS_max_dispatchers = 8
MTS_max_servers = 12
MTS_servers = 4

I want to scale my Database for 600 simultaneous connections.

What are the values I should set for PROCESSES and SESSIONS? Is there any
setting need to be done at MTS configuration level?
Please explain.
