Physical standby database machine reboot

Physical standby database machine reboot

Hi All
I have a physical standby database setup. The primary database is under a
regular schedule for reboot and I want to include the standby machine too.

What are the implications of rebooting the standby database machine while
datagard is up and running ? Can I just ignore the error messages that will
pop up on the primary (cannot archive etc ...). The primary is not setup for
mandatory archiving to the standby.[Vijay, Sekhar] Oracle version is 9i R2
- the missing sequences will be automatically filled in by Oracle when the
standby comes back up ?

Thanks in advance.
