Hello,
I am installing oracle9i on Alpha Tru 64. We already
have an oracle 8 database on this machine. I tried to
install the oracle9i in another home. During the
installation when it is 96%, I am getting the error
"error in invoking install of make file
$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk".
I ignored this error then I cannot start the listener
and also cannot create the database.
I tried the installation in another home. Then also I
am getting the same error.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem. The oracle8
home is on another disk
