We support several oracle instance on a NetApp. Key points:
1. use hard mounts
2. use udp (if possible)
3. use redo log groups with a member on the local server storage
4. isolate storage network from other devices

In general, the performance is acceptable provided you are not running a
heavy IO intensive application, such as DSS.
