Have you qualified the view name with the schema or created a synonym?

Hi List



I have a peculier problem with views.I am using oracle8.1.5



I have defined a view named xx. When I am selecting from view I am able to
the data.But when I describe it I am getting the below error.

After selecting the data when I issue desc xx command it is describing.



ORA-00942: table or view does not exist



I want to know why this happening.
