RE: Does anyone know?

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it.
What could cause serial# change over time and why it is changing?

I am collecting "CPU used by this session" and found out some session got huge number on this, so I started to doubt that the serial# change and my collecting program recount them over and over again.

I had the exact same thing happen to me once. Of course, I can't recall the
version or the fix but the sid would stay the same with the Serial# changing
continuously. It wasn't executing in parallel either.

Hello Gurus,

Is it possible that a session change its serial# even when it is still
connected to Oracle?
Thx.
