I just wanna share your thoughts on Oracle DBA's Future.

I have been working as a Oracle DBA , also Unix admin part(I am OCP , SCSA).
I would like to know how far the market is favorable to Oracle DBA.

Recently I come to see so many jos ads for DB2 DBA , Sybase DBA ....

Do we have a good future as Oracle DBA ? Atleast for next 10 years , I am
very interested to work as Oracle DBA atleat for 5-10 years more.

Can we survive with these skills in the present market.

Please take it as a general poll and throw your invaluable thoughts and
comments.

How is the market and demand for Oracle DBA at your place (Overseas , US ,UK
, Singapore , Japan,Malasia and other other leading IT based conutries.)
