Me tooo Oracle 9i certified DBA.. not sure about
Overseas but it seems you will get opportunities outside also
Wait for some time and see the market conditions.
There are only 60,000 Oracle DBA's in the world right now..
One more thing, if you are strong in Oracle DBA on any
Unix flavour especially Solaris then you should not
Bother about market..

I have been working as a Oracle DBA , also Unix admin part(I am OCP ,

I would like to know how far the market is favorable to Oracle DBA.
Recently I come to see so many jos ads for DB2 DBA , Sybase DBA ....
Do we have a good future as Oracle DBA ? Atleast for next 10 years , I

very interested to work as Oracle DBA atleat for 5-10 years more.
Can we survive with these skills in the present market.
