Ill check the alert log tomorrow morning.
sorry about read only... was busy today and wasnt clear. We use this
instance for data loads. Users dont do transactions. So its essentially
'read only' from the users perspective. Sorry internal terminology. So I
didnt think we were in archive log mode, since it would be wasteful. Cold
backup is plenty for this.
