Your base backup for restoring would be the Level 0 from Sunday, RMAN would then apply all the Level 1
backups starting from Monday through Thurday

Hi Guys,



I am taking RMAN level 0 backup on Sunday and cumulative level 1 backup from Monday to Saturday. If I need to restore backup on Friday then would RMAN need all backups file that were taken from Monday to Thursday or just level0 and Thursday's files.



In brief, replacing level1 files everyday is correct or not?
