Haha...no, not dumb questions (I've done them before).

1. Yes...same shell to start svrmgrl that I set the
ORACLE_SID with...

2. Yes, I have set the services via oradim. I put the
pfile= command as a param in the service for the
instance created too...

When starting the service from the services console,
it seems to be doing ok...but, when doing so from a
shell....I get the problems....and I want things to
work properly in the shell for running scripts..etc.
