I am installing 9iR2 three of my servers. Two went
thru successfully. In the third server i am getting
the message

1)Error in setting permissions of file/directory
/home/oracle/jre/1.1.8/bin/sparc/native_threads/rmiregistry
(Abort/Retry/Ignore)
blah .. blah - such messages repeated
2)/home/oracle/product/9.2.0/Apache/Jsdk/doc/apidoc/images/class-index.gif
blah .. blah - such messages repeated

The server has already one Java versions enabled.
I aborted the install.
Set CLASSPATH to null and restarted OUI. Now the no.
of errors greatly reduced but still one or two errors
are displayed (apache etc).

Metalink says "touch" those files in unix. Does not
make any sense to do that for 20-30 files.
No such problem faced in the other two servers.
This one has OAS 4.0.8.1 running which i cannot touch.

Any ideas?
