Hello GURU's
Couldn't make oracle autostart on boot,
using oracle 9.2 on RedHat 8.
Downloaded script from
www.gurulabs.com/oracle-linux.html
http://www.gurulabs.com/files/oraclerun9i-1.4-1.noarch.rpm
Installed it, installed oracle software, then successfully created db.
Edited all files in these scripts,
set autorun it on 345 levels by:
/sbin/chkconfig --level 345 oracle on
but anyway it's not starting and also not shuting down on system shutdown or
reboot.
On system startup it shows:
Tuning kernel parameters for Oracle.............[OK]
Starting Oracle...........................................[OK]
Please help,
thanx in advance
