Hey everybody,
I am trying to copy a table from one database to
another using a database link. I get the following
message.

select count(*) from [Email Address Removed] ;

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
ORA-02063: preceding line from CATCH ..

I however tried using all password combinations and
think that identitification is not the issue. I used
Oracle DBA studio and used the "test" option to check
the link and it said that the link is not active.

I am now trying to figure out how to make this link
active. I have the options of creating another link or
export/ import but wud like to try activating this
link.
