You will probably have to load the SPX protocol, if it is available for the
2003 ??
May have to get this from the Novell for windows client.
Why not use TCP/IP with NW 5.1, we have been doing this for over 5 yrs.
We used TCP/IP with NW 4.11 - 5.1, we wanted to goto NW 6.x, but ORA 8.1
will not load on it.

Subject: Installing Oracle8i client on windows 2003 server with citrix
metaframe - The saga continues
Hi, all
Thanks for all the replies for my previous dilemma and you were right it
was the Pentium 4 problem. So I found the documentation for this issue and
was able to start the installation but when the installer gets to the Net8
configuration it says it can't find the protocol adapter (or something to
that effect). Now the Oracle database is Version 8.1.7.2.5 and it uses the
SPX protocol running on a Novell NetWare 5.1 SP5 server. Any ideas would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
