Hi all,
I'm DBA'ing here....and also getting tasked to build, care and nurture
Portal 3.0 on 9iAS on Oracle 8.1.7 db. Anyone here played with this stuff
before?

I'm trying to test the validity of our exports. I set up a cloned version
of the orignal instance supporting the portal and iAS. It is on the same
machine. In fact, everything is on the same machine...and Sun box.

I imported to the clone db from the orig. I'm now trying to switch things
so that portal and all are accessible from the cloned version and not the
orig.

I've tried running ssodatan and it keeps failing giving some errors that it
can't find some programs...when trying to point it to the other clone
instance. It works fine when I point it back to original instance.

I'm working with no documentation from the Oracle people who installed
it...nor the applications they installed on it for task management.....

So, if anyone can help me, and even more importantly..point me to a good
source of info on Portal, 9iAS....I'd be much appreciative!!!
