RE: how to clean NT services ???

Hi Andrea,

1. There is a utility included with the NT Resource Kit that can be used
to remove a service.

2. If this is not available, you can use regedit as follows:
- Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->System->Currentcontrolset->services
- Delete the services you don't want.

3. See Note: 45834.1 on Metalink for info on completely removing Oracle.

Restart the machine after any of these.

HTH,
~Dan.

Subject: how to clean NT services ???

Hi all,

I installed, deinstalled, and reinstalled some Oracle
tools. In the NT service window, I still see the
service name for non-extisting services. How can I
clean out these services? (NT 4.0, Oracle 815 EE for
NT, OEM 204).

Thanks.
Andrea
