In this order.

1.) RMAN backup / restore.
2.) OS filesytem backup (Oracle cold backup)
3.) Clone the datbase to the new server.
4.) EXP / IMP

Either way you will have to configure/create the NT/2000 Oracle Services

Hi all gurus,
this is my question.
What's the simplest, smartest and most reliable way
to move an 8.1.7 version database (placed on an old N.T 4.0 server) to a
9.2.0 version database on a new W2K server? Thank you very much.
