Oh yeah..I'm working in Unix-land....(Linux actually),
I'll look at the paste command...looks quite close to
what I need.
I'm actually needing to bring in rows from one
file...grab and manipulate parts of it, and append
this to lines in another file....
Each file I have does not have the same # rows...
Thanks for the quick feedback...this might be one of
the things I need!!!!
