RE: Question for DBAs who have installed Oracle 9i

The script is located in your Oracle_Home you're installing under:

/u01/app/oracle/9.20, or whatever you called it.

The script must be ran as the system admin root user, and nothing else.

Hope that helps.

Subject: Question for DBAs who have installed Oracle 9i

I have installed Oracle 9i and have reached a GUI for Setup Privileges
that says 'A configuration script needs to be run as root before
installation can proceed. Please leave this window up, go run...'

Where is the script this message is referring to and do I run in at
system admin root or oracle?

see attached for exact GUI message if you are running micrsoft word...
