RE: Question for DBAs who have installed Oracle 9i

It is in your ORACLE_HOME directory called root.sh.

If this is not your first Oracle install on this box, you don't have to
rerun it.

Subject: Question for DBAs who have installed Oracle 9i

I have installed Oracle 9i and have reached a GUI for Setup Privileges
that says 'A configuration script needs to be run as root before
installation can proceed. Please leave this window up, go run...'

Where is the script this message is referring to and do I run in at
system admin root or oracle?

see attached for exact GUI message if you are running micrsoft word...
