u r loging as / means os usr as db usr.
what u need to do is , at OS level grant ORA_DBA ( administrating user &
gropus menu of OS )
group to the os user by which u hav logged in in OS.
and the only give conn / as sysdba

Hi Frienz,
After configuring RADIUS authentication(database is running,while i
am configuring), i could'nt login into database,it shows following error in
oracle-9i on microsoft windows2K-professional.
SQL> connect /as sysdba
ERROR:
ORA-12641: Authentication service failed to initialize
Kindly,give me the solution,as early as possible.
