Hi,
Recently, I copied the database files over to a
different drive (F) that is FAT32 because I had to
re-load the operating systems (OS). But when I
re-installed the OS, I installed the NTFS file system
on drive C. As a result of re-installing the OS, I
had to re-install Oracle8i but I didn't create a
sample database.
In addition, when backing up the Oracle8i files, I
didn't create a backup control file.
Question,
Can I still restore the Oracle8i database on the FAT32
file system (drive F), instead of the NTFS (drive C)
and still use the database?
