Hello all!!

I'm trying to just get a simple cold backup going for
a test database we have right now. The application
install created one undo datafile that is 10G in size.

I'm trying to get them to let me break it up, but, for
now have to keep this way...they insist on mirroring
their prototype model elsewhere while testing.

Trouble is...when I tried zip -9 on the data
files...that bombed.

I then tried to tar them all...to pipe though gzip.
However, tar blows up on this 10G file.

Does anyone have any suggestions around this? Is there
a version of tar that will handle larger file sizes?
