Re: silly tablespace question

Re: silly tablespace question

Hi Johnson,

there are two ways of solving the problem

1) add some datafiles to yr existing tablespace, so that the same users can contnue to write the data into

2) shift some fo the users to other tablespace, so that this present one can accomodate rest of the users

please correct me if am wrong, in MS Access upto year 2000 there wasn't tablespace concept, where database/database file was there i.e. say johnson.mdb, a user can put/change his data into.

yes, In SQL SERVER there was/is

refer docs for syntex on creating tables in diff tbs, you need to give such grants for user..

good luck..subodh deshpande
